Die De Los Verbos

Die De Los Verbos and Galapago are learning games which were initially designed by a Russian game development solutions provider then improvise through Gamix Labs game development services. We evaluated its existing game-play strategy and furnished these games with a new and unique look that excites users to play and learn through the game.

Die De Los Verbos and Galapago games were developed to target newbies to make them learn verbs and grammar using game-play.

Gamix Labs was hired for the game improvement and other minor aspects. So,we re-evaluated the concept of the game and found loops which were not sorted at that time. Moreover, we discussed our innovative ideas for Die De Los Verbos game and the client happily agreed to those reformation.

  • Die De Los Verbos Gameplay

  • In Die De Los Verbos game, players have to shoot the right verb to answer the question that appears on the screen. The game is played with two characters -- a chameleon and a fly. A chameleon has to catch flies. The game can be played using space, right and left arrow keys.

  • Highlights of Die De Los Verbos

  • The highlights comprise features we append in the existing game to make it more engaging and attractive and that are game-play improvement and managing game-play objects (Flies).

  • Object Movement

  • The game object was a tortoise which had to run to win the game while avoiding enemies and collecting eggs which is designed as the reward (Coin) of the game. During the test our team found that both objects (Enemies and rewards) were appearing at the same time and same place in the gameplay. So, we balanced the game to make it playable and exciting.

  • Manage Objects

  • Customizing old projects with a novice idea is not an easy task. However, our development team employed our ideas into coding very well and proved their expertise in the development field. We managed objects to float the object diagonally while keeping everything as well in the game. We appended our idea then tested it to get the best result and we successfully achieved it

  • Galapago- Gameplay

  • The objective of galapago is to run ahead while avoiding enemies and collecting eggs.

    Galapago game is played with two characters - a tortoise and a dragon. The player controls the tortoise character and the dragon appears as enemies in the gameplay.

  • Client's expectations from Gamix Labs

  • The client asked us to improve the gameplay of Galapago as there were bugs in the game play and had some other obstacles which was stucking the character during the game play.

  • How did we improve Galapago game?

  • Firstly, our developer team analyzed the problems of the game and found that the game had two major problems which creating hurdles during the gameplay and those problems can be divided into two major parts: animation improvement and object management.

  • Animation Improvement

  • While improving the game we also found issues in animation that should be restored or improved for better gameplay. We improved the animation to give a perfect look to the game and make it smooth for the best user experience.

  • Object management

  • The game object was a tortoise which had to run to win the game while avoiding enemies and collecting eggs which is designed as the reward (Coin) of the game. During the test our team found that both objects (Enemies and rewards) were appearing at the same time and same place in the gameplay. So, we optimize the gameplay and manage both characters of the game to make the game playable and exciting.
